Garbage Can Lid
Spray Paint
Nerf Bopper (Foam Tube)
Metal Snap Fasteners
Gorilla Glue (or similar hardcore adhesive)

A) Cut rim from garbage can lid.

B) Slice foam tube on one side from end to end, go the full length of the bopper.

C) Wrap bopper around edge of garbage can lid. Glue in place. Depending on the size of your lid, you may need two boppers to cover the entire edge.

D) Use metal snap fasteners to join ends of foam tubing together for a more seamless look.
